This week, the lads are joined by Jonn Elledge to explain why a poplar tree caused a dangerous international incident. Jonn is the author of 'The History of the World in 47 Borders' and he takes Neil and Dave on a whirlwind jaunt around the globe. They’ll visit curiosities like the medieval state where the only residents were the unmarried daughters of nobles and the Italian town surrounded by Switzerland. To warm you up for part 2, part 1 sees the origin of Mastermind explained.

You may also learn how to keep a tiger.

Point of order: George Foreman’s sons are all named George. You’ll understand when you listen.
