Sandy Schmied - I started working with babies as young as four weeks, helping them establish great sleep habits in gentle, baby-led ways without rigid sleep training. Seeing how well it worked—and how much relief it brought to exhausted families—I knew I wanted to take my passion further. That’s how Wildhood Sleep was born: to help parents get the rest they deserve while nurturing their connection with their little ones. In the early days, I started by sharing my knowledge within my community. I trained as a maternity nurse, and soon enough, word spread. People began reaching out, asking if I could bring my sleep "magic" to their homes! But I didn’t want to rely on intuition alone; I wanted to deeply understand the science of sleep. That’s when I enrolled in the Holistic Sleep Coaching Program. The course went far beyond traditional sleep training, exploring how things like low iron, oral ties, and a baby’s temperament can impact sleep. My experience with highly sensitive babies had already shown me that the "one-size-fits-all" sleep methods just didn’t work for every family. Combining my years of hands-on experience with the knowledge I gained through the program, I launched Wildhood Sleep with one clear mission: to offer tailored, gentle sleep solutions that genuinely help families thrive. It’s been an incredible journey, and I can honestly say I’ve never looked back!Season 2 - Episode 23Find her here: www.wildhoodsleep.com https://www.instagram.com/wildhood.sleep/ https://www.tiktok.com/@wildhood.sleep---Thank you for watching or listening to my podcast.
