24 lessons learned in 2024

December is flying by, and before we know it, we’ll be counting down to the New Year. As the year draws to a close, it’s a natural time to reflect on all we’ve accomplished—and perhaps on the things we didn’t quite achieve. But even in our missteps, there are valuable lessons to be learned, guiding us toward growth and new opportunities in the year ahead.

If you’ve experienced a key life lesson, we’d love to hear your story! Share it with us by leaving a voice memo here. Much love and wishing you the happiest New Year!

Nihal's lessons learned:

  1. The happier I am the more it serves those around me. I don't have to match the vibes of those around me.
  2. Get moving! It's wild how stagnant energy can weigh you down mentally.
  3. Remember to be present- there are too many distractions in the world. Try to think of mentally being present as a work out, it's hard at first but with practice it becomes second nature.
  4. Humans want to feel appreciated and loved. Notice little things about your friends and family and let them know. It's amazing how little it takes to brighten someone's day.
  5. Friendships ebb and flow but the ones that are meant to be in our lives for a long time won't take your ghosting personal.
  6. Laugh more, sometimes a little emotional bouancy is all you need for perspective.
  7. Sometimes it's right when you feel like giving up that things start to take a turn for the better.
  8. Smile.
  9. Drink water, simple things like hydrating your body help with lower energy.
  10. Get your vitamin D - through sunshine or supplements
  11. Be curious. A curious mind is how we stay in a loving and less judgemental mindset
  12. Celebrate life. Every day is a gift.

Lucy's lessons learned:

  1. Use my discernment, trust myself more.
  2. Set boundaries with work colleagues, family, and friends.
  3. Protect my space and value my time more.
  4. Trust the timing of your life.
  5. Try not to take things personally.
  6. Rejection is God's way of saying, I have something better for you.
  7. Take a moment to pause and be less reactive.
  8. Prioritize your healing and regulating your nervous system by establishing rituals and self-care practices.
  9. Protect my peace and how important it is for my mental health and well-being.
  10. You cannot force relationships, all them to organically happen. Relationships can only survive if they are reciprocal.
  11. It's important to disconnect in order to connect with self and gain clarity.
  12. Give yourself grace, we are all doing the best we can!
