Surprise! Hey there folks, this week Kross was fortunate enough to get to interview Joel Daniel Phillips, and talk to him about his path through art, his work with Joe Abercrombie, Pierce Brown, and VE Schwab, AND a little bit about The Devils! We also get some exclusive thoughts about new projects coming down the pipe... including something fun with Red Rising. A small apology for the audio quality- Squadcast somehow failed to capture the audio quality, but with some wizardry from Andrew and Kross, we were able to recover it and make it work, all in record time.

This is a unique episode is the way that it is also the first episode that we've recorded on video. We'll be sharing that early next week, so that you can get excellent looks at each of the prints that he shared within the conversation, and more.

Beyond that, be sure to check out the merch drop that Lit Escalates has going for special editions of The Devils, and more!

Next week, our friend Adam steps back in to lead the show, and Krossland through discussing Becky Chambers Monk and Robot duology. Don't worry- only another week or so until we return back to The Heroes.

See you then.
