In our 5th episode in our series with author and podcaster, Nicole Unice, we continue the conversation focused around the topic of her latest book, "Not What I Signed Up For".

We have talking about unexpected seasons and how God can use difficult times in our lives to shape us and grow us. When you get to the other side of a trial, how does redemption set you free from blame and shame?

Nicole Unice is a bivocational leader, serving both in the ministry and in the marketplace.

As a pastor and community leader, Nicole is the author of several books on healthy faith, honing in on the connection between our emotional and spiritual life. She’s the host of How to Study the Bible, a popular weekly podcast that reaches people in 188 different countries in the last year alone, and preaches frequently for conferences and churches.

In the marketplace, Nicole is the Chief Operating Officer of Pangea Technologies, an early stage fintech with a redemptive vision to create equity in the global economy through AI-powered software. (Yes, she’s as surprised as anyone to find herself here—but God is the one who orders our steps!)

Nicole makes her home in Richmond, VA, which she shares with her husband and three almost-young-adults. Nicole holds degrees from the College of William and Mary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
