What Does it Mean to Have Your Faith Tested? With Nicole Unice
Manage episode 480509816 series 2565480
In our second week with author and podcaster, Nicole Unice, we continue to have a conversation focused around her latest book, "Not What I Signed up For". Today we begin with a quote from the book,
"God does not play hide and seek when it comes to these tests. He uses this time to reveal what is in our hearts: who we are becoming and what we are believing"
Nicole Unice is a bivocational leader, serving both in the ministry and in the marketplace.
As a pastor and community leader, Nicole is the author of several books on healthy faith, honing in on the connection between our emotional and spiritual life. She’s the host of How to Study the Bible, a popular weekly podcast that reaches people in 188 different countries in the last year alone, and preaches frequently for conferences and churches.
In the marketplace, Nicole is the Chief Operating Officer of Pangea Technologies, an early stage fintech with a redemptive vision to create equity in the global economy through AI-powered software. (Yes, she’s as surprised as anyone to find herself here—but God is the one who orders our steps!)
Nicole makes her home in Richmond, VA, which she shares with her husband and three almost-young-adults. Nicole holds degrees from the College of William and Mary and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary.
