The bloke has been on Australian radio for decades, and that is not because he knows how to stick to a budget. Merrick is a classic larrikin who has caused quite a lot of headaches for people, both from stress and booze. Just when you think he is good at everything, Merrick explains that that before comedy he was a failed tradie who was bullied relentlessly on site, which was music to our ears.
