Former Duke runner Emily Cole shares how she survived a coma and became an All-American runner

Emily Cole spent two days in a coma because she did not have enough sodium just before the 2018 Texas cross-country state championships.

Cole's near-death experience and becoming an All-American runner at Duke led her to write a book called "The Players' Plate."

WRAL senior multiplatform producer Mark Bergin spoke with Cole about her experiences and her book.
