Some common perceptions of meditation are a person who is passive, quiet, and recluse. The biblical context, especially when considering the ancient Hebrew word, seems to reference an active murmuring, a defensive and protective stand, repetitive words and actions, along with an aggressive posture to hold on to God's word as a life source.
