On this episode we look back at Pigeon Detectives 2007 album "Wait For Me" with the bands drummer (and more) Jimmi Naylor.
This was the Leeds band's debut album and it contained some MASSIVE songs that are still very much part of the bands live set today (they're still together, making music and touring). Tunes like 'Romantic Type', 'I Found Out' and 'Take Her Back' we're all very much staples of indie rock radio radio in the late 00s but it was live where the band really gained their reputation - which Jimmi talks about in detail on the podcast.
You can check out the album on Spotitfy via: https://open.spotify.com/album/3EVZWeTZ5XDe8Z1O746XP3?si=McC4I4h0TfW8K96j2SJQDg&dl_branch=1
As well as still being part of Pigeon Detectives Jimmi is nowadays mainly mixing artists, he's helping a range of alternative artists, both independent and signed on the mixing and mastering front, so if you are an artist listening, check out website to see how he can help you: www.jimminaylor.com.
