During this year's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), Apple unveiled its highly anticipated mixed reality headset called Vision Pro. Priced at $3,499, the headset combines virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) experiences and features a single strip of glass, a digital crown for switching between AR and VR, spatial audio, and an external battery pack. It will be available early next year and runs on a new operating system called visionOS. Apple also introduced a new 15.3-inch MacBook Air with improved specifications, a new Mac Studio and Mac Pro with Apple Silicon-powered upgrades, and a journaling app called Journal. iOS 17 brings features like StandBy mode, transcription for voice messages, a safety-focused Check In feature, and a NameDrop feature. iPadOS 17 adds interactive widgets, improved Notes app capabilities, a personalized lock screen, and the Health app. macOS Sonoma includes visual upgrades, new features for Safari, and a "game mode" prioritizing gaming performance. watchOS 10 introduces widgets, new watch faces, daylight measurement, cycling features, and trailhead information for hikers.
