I had the honor to welcome my brother @umarue Barrie to the show ( one of the most amazing and meaningful conversations I had in my life). He is an MD/Ph.D. student @ the UT Southwestern. He was born in Sierra Leonne and his family evaded the war and moved back to Guinea with nothing. His father found a way to eventually get the family in the US. As a teenager in Harlem, Umaru managed to defy the odds, stay out of trouble and create a life for himself, one that many people do not have the courage to walk in. I will not spoil it. Tune in.
