A public speaker, host of the "Self-Healing After Trauma" podcast, and author of the upcoming book "Healing Stories: Eight Steps to SELF-HEALing After Sexual Abuse." My journey is a unique one, having survived personal and systemic trauma from childhood sexual abuse by a same-sex pedophile. I now use my expertise to support survivors transform their lives from wounded into wholeness.

Dr. Asher Beckwitt is a Medical Anthropologist, public speaker, and author of the upcoming book, Healing Stories: Eight Steps to SELF-HEALing After Sexual Abuse. For over 24 years, she has researched trauma and healing. As a survivor of childhood sexual abuse by a same-sex pedophile, Dr. Asher brings a unique and deeply personal perspective to her work.

Her personal and professional experiences led her to develop the SELF-HEAL framework—a transformative, step-by-step process rooted in the real-life healing journeys of sexual abuse survivors. This framework guides survivors to embrace their own healing by emphasizing essential elements such as safety, self-evaluation, learning, forgiveness, health, empowerment, alignment, and unconditional self-love.
