Shubman Gill's 269 and three top order England wicket may have put India in a strong position after two days of the second Test at Edgbaston.

India hit 587 in their first innings after beginning the day 310-5 and after five sessions in the field, Ben Duckett, Ollie Pope and Zak Crawley all fell to leave England 77-3 at the close.
