Today’s episode is going to be short, sweet and to the point. The majority of benefit you’re going to get out of this week is doing the activity and creating your wellness vision. Your challenge is to take the rest of the time on your drive or with whatever you’re doing and sit in silence to allow these ideas and thoughts to sink in. Then, set aside 30 minutes on your calendar where you are uninterrupted to put this into words.

Creating a wellness vision is thinking ahead to envision the life you want to live. How you want to feel, things you want to be able to do. How you want to relate to food and exercise, and what you want your life to FEEL like.

Questions to think on:

Envision you are at your healthiest self.

What does that look like physically? Mentally? Emotionally? How you indulge? Your relationship to food?

What does that feel like physically? Mentally? Emotionally? How you indulge? Your relationship to food?

FEEL IT.

Put yourself in the place. What are things you no longer care about? What are your priorities?

What kind of thoughts are you thinking about your health, body?

Any other thoughts/ideas come to mind?

NEXT STEPS:

This week:

  • do your wellness vision activity, both by listening to the episode and pondering, but also by setting aside the 30 minutes for yourself to dig into this
  • Outline a few things that are not aligning with your long term vision
  • Create a goal based off where you are
