**Special discussion around Black College Student Experiences
The purpose of this presentation is to highlight some of the unique challenges that Black and African American students face. We plan to discuss the historical background and status of African Americans, challenges specific to Black college students, and ways to take advantage of mental health services. We discuss historical context and societal issues that have created cultural mistrust and mental health stigmas.
