Kit Kline, a Canadian-born descendant of the Wampanoag people and a member of the Sou’West Nova Métis Council, has a deep-rooted connection to her Native American ancestry, shaping her philosophy on health and wellness. With over 20 years in social work and a specialty in mental health and addictions, Kit pioneered Nature Based Therapy, blending therapeutic practices with nature to support holistic healing.
Kit holds a Master of Social Work from Deakin University and a Master of Indigenous Studies from the University of South Australia, along with multiple qualifications in welfare, mental health, and holistic healing. She is also an advocate for sustainable communities and environmental preservation.
Kit, a mother of four, lives in Torquay, Victoria, where she enjoys the outdoors, family picnics, and cooking organic food. She has presented at numerous conferences, including the Child and Nature Network (CNN) Conference and the Australian Adventure and Bush Therapy Conference.
