This is a short, guided somatic tracking exercise which is used in Pain Reprocessing Therapy to help to retrain the brain out of chronic pain by learning to interpret sensory information through the lens of safety (instead of danger).

You can listen to this exercise when your pain sensations are mild or moderate.

The key is to repeat this exercise often to give your brain a chance to develop new neural pathways.

If you’re returning to this episode, then you can skip the intro and start the guided somatic somatic tracking exercise by starting to play the episode at 04:40.
