Over-leveraged. Over-optimistic. And out of options. That was the reality for many investors in 2024.

But today’s guest, Jonathan Nichols, isn't one of them. Strategic moves and rock-solid asset management kept his portfolio intact, even as foreclosures piled up around him. Jonathan is a real estate investor based in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. He transitioned into real estate investing in 2018, alongside his wife, Paula, after a decade of experience as an aerospace propulsion engineer. They founded Apogee Capital in 2019.

In this episode, you’ll learn why most syndicators fail post-acquisition, how short-term rentals gave Jonathan the freedom to play long-term games, and his new approach to avoiding "deal desperation."

Tune in!
