Welcome to listeners in global community. Yes, this includes you if you are rocking it or plan to in your 60s, 70s, 80s and beyond- the cool kids... This is a generation that is re-defining/ re-freshing retirement and what it means to live and work at this stage of life. Many people in the 60+ community are choosing to work longer in various capacities and for a few key reasons. Podcast host, Sue is a proud member of the 60 and More Crowd community.

This podcast is focused on highlighting the growing trend of working longer.

Whether you're considering staying in your current role or exploring new ventures, there's a new work chapter waiting for you to discover. Sue relates to this.
In Canada, (where host Sue resides) , 20% of people over the age of 65 are continuing to work. (Statistics Canada, April 2024).
What the inspiration behind the podcast and connection.
Host Sue who is also the podcast producer, transitioned out of her 30 year sales/marketing career to explore new work opportunities with more flexibility. As an older worker, her personal experience while exploring new ways of working is the inspiration of creating the 60 and More Crowd podcast. This question kept popping up on her radar: How are others (the older worker) navigating and handling the work experience? This will be platform for engaging with listener feedback, supporting the working longer experience and navigating the work landscape.
