In response to some requests to get to know more of Tim as a human (and not just as a coach), Tim dives into his origins - no filter, all heart, pure storytelling.
He opens up about growing up as a Filipino kid in the Bay Area, as he recounts lessons he’s learned from his parents who immigrated from the Philippines, how the struggle to understand his identity as a Filipino-American led to his ability to bridge worlds, and how the indigenous Filipino value of ‘kapwa’ (which conveys “shared humanity” or “interconnectedness”) guides all his interactions, both personally and professionally.
This episode is all about aligning individual gifts and desires with larger collective purpose. Because purpose and belonging, as it turns out, are the most potent performance enhancers that exist.
