This week we discuss 1989 American epic biographical anti-war drama film Born on the Fourth July directed by Oliver Stone, starring Tom Cruise, Willem Dafoe, Kyra Sedgwick, Tom Berenger, John C McGinley, Vivica Fox and many others.

The Aussie had not seen this one and wow this really struck a chord with him.

Both the boys are passionate and empathic as they discuss the horrors of war and the devastation caused to those that served and their families.

While Platoon took us into the depths of war and the hell the soldiers went through, this one looks at the Vietnam Vet's after the war and how they transitioned back into civilian life.

This is the 2nd in Stone's trilogy. Worthy of its numerous accolades and awards.

The Aussie dominates in this podcast, he is off and running, it really had a strong impact on him.

Listen in to find out what he has to say.
