Manage episode 330921774 series 2790038
In 2008 Lavie Popack founded MPower, a renewable energy company. About four years into running the company, he realized there was a serious need for customer-facing teams. As a result, he spent much of his time finding the right talent to develop their team.
In the process of trying out nearly every staff outsourcing model—onsite, offshore, nearshore—he was met with a slew of various issues. Lavie recognized that launching a customer engagement team wasn’t without its challenges, from difficulty recruiting top-tier talent to sacrificing a more hands-on approach to operations.
This inspired him to launch Overpass, a SaaS platform for remote work.
In this conversation with Dubb founder and CEO Ruben Dua, Lavie shares what he’s learned in his experience building and growing a remote sales team.
If you’re curious about how remote working works, its benefits, challenges, and best practices, Lavie’s insights will surely be of value.
