Young and the Restless sees Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), along with other prominent figures of Genoa City, find themselves at Cane Ashby's (Billy Flynn) secluded chateau in France. The event, orchestrated by Cane, is suspicious, with no cell service and an eerie feeling of isolation. The power players, including Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), are oblivious to the potential turmoil brewing back in Genoa City. Joshua Morrow teases an imminent murder mystery on the CBS soap opera.

Y&R sees Victor Newman rejects Cane Ashby's offer to trade Aristotle Dumas' (Billy Flynn) assets for controlling interest in Chancellor Industries. Despite Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) agreeing with Victor, there's a sense that Cane has other plans in motion. The isolation at the chateau could provide the perfect cover for a company takeover.

Young and Restless sees Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) is revealed to have been invited to the chateau due to his detective skills. Cane confides that he believes someone is planning to kill him. Could this be a diversion? Could the real murder mystery victim be Chance, as actor Connor Floyd is confirmed to be leaving the soap for Days of our Lives?

Young and the Restless sees Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) grow closer, potentially leading to a significant twist in the love triangle with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could also be stirring up trouble, as she sets her sights on Cane.
