We're wrapping up Endometriosis Awareness month, but as physical therapist and health coach Naja Chikazunga-Martin and I discuss, endometriosis doesn't end when March is over! It's an issue women deal with YEAR-ROUND. If you suffer from endo (or know someone who does), tune into this awesome conversation. It's not just for women with endo, but for any woman with a menstrual cycle. Naja shares:

  • How we can use our cycle as our superpower... even with endo!
  • The importance of "remembering the wins" (remembering what's worked in the past) to retrain the brain and invoke a feeling of confidence and calm that helps SYSTEMWIDE, as well as reducing endo pain
  • Visceral manipulation and the energetic sense of endometriosis lesions
  • The importance of rest and routines
  • How to optimize gallbladder and liver health, support brain function and health, and support digestive health
  • Why the pelvic system is like a waltz
  • How to add veggies to your breakfast (try a baked sweet potato with grass-fed butter and cinnamon!)
  • The power of cinnamon bark (get my moon chocolate recipe! bit.ly/femchoc)
  • Menstrual protection (does using a pad instead of a tampon or cup help with endo pain?)

Naja's contact info and links:

  • Dr. Naja Chikazunga-Martin states, "As a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Certified Women’s Health and Functional Nutrition Coach (WHNC), and Certified Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner (PRPC), I use a root-cause approach to improve my clients' health and wellness."
