Minnesota is home to 11 federally recognized tribes and our Minnesota academic standards are written to reflect and include Native perspectives that represent both historical and contemporary examples. Odia Wood-Krueger from Understand Native Minnesota and Eden Bart from the Minnesota Humanities Center help us fill in potential missing gaps, share insights and wisdom, and connect us with vetted resources to Indigenize the curriculum and do it well.
