#273: You Can Be Dismissed For Continued Sickness Absence And Being on Long Term Sick Leave From Work But Your Employer Must Still Treat You Fairly. Here’s Why!
Manage episode 484173511 series 3003707
Hi there
This week we continue the theme of looking at your employment rights through the lens of the unwritten term of the duty of mutual trust and confidence; and this week, we look at mutual trust and confidence obligation through the lens of sickness absence and dismissals. We pay particular attention to Capability Procedures and what happens when your employer treats you badly and gets Capability Procedures wrong.
It's our view, that the more you are able to acquaint yourself with your employment rights in this area, the more your rights will act as an early warning system. If you need help to formulate your complaint you can download a copy of our ‘Complaints Checklist’ here.
