While Christy was a student at North Carolina A&T, she played clarinet in the Blue and Gold Marching Machine and in the symphonic band for 4 years. She currently serves at the Director of Career Services at Durham Technical Community College in Durham, North Carolina, and has her very own platform focused on HBCU Band advocacy. #HERstory is meant to be heard!
