In this episode (Casting unnecessary blame), I continue my conversation exploring love and relationship as I talk to a friend, who's been married for 7 years, and examine his journey towards marriage and how he and his wife have handled various challenges and adventures.

We talk about contemplating divorce and the things that led to that like communication issues, aligning on love languages, as well as the domino effect that it can cause. He explains how him and his wife got over the hump of wanting a divorce. We discuss the need men have to control things and in some cases force the things they want. We unpack the various levels of intimacy and why all of them matter. We look at the blame associated with a lack of intimacy, dealing with tension points, and the after effect of constant friction. We also go over his decision to move to another country for his wife, the decision making process for that, and the importance of having the right support system.
