Hey everyone, great to see you again.
I have another very interesting video for you, with pain and movement specialist and founder of the Bigger than Pain program, David McGettigan.
David has a really interesting history of trying to solve the chronic pain issues he developed in his teens, which led him to a degree in sports rehabilitation, which, disappointingly, did not help him solve his issues. He then trained in the Anatomy in Motion work of Gary Ward and Jose Palomar's P-DTR, which has had an influence on the muscle testing that is coming through more and more in Bowen technique (see our recent interview with Jun Chow of CBS and last year's interview with Paul Esson).
David has taken his knowledge and experience to develop his specialised online program, "Bigger Than Pain." This personalised system helps people understand their own pain journey and narrative, with a detailed recovery tool kit, community support, and guidance from the man himself.
David has also authored several great articles on his Substack account and has over 280 videos on his YouTube channel.
This was a really interesting interview and gives us a really good view in what is beyond just the physical treatment of pain, plus great access to some amazing resources for our clients (including the great free e-book on pain).
