Follow-up and consistency are the keys. During the first months of any addiction recovery, the firsts months are the most difficult. We all are tempted to falling back. And when you fall down you gotta get back up no matter how bad it hurts. The goal should be to avoid that to happen. We should be realistic that bad habits that were continuously part of our daily life will prompt on us in different manners. That's why we should have that list (inventory) of ourselves that guides us to the process of avoiding going into that bar again, that street, those friends, and those moments that activated our thirst to use that substance.
