In our program to help and support to make you free of substance abuse, we understand how important is to make a stop and dedicate time to yourself. Praying and meditation have different approaches, but an important role. As we discuss in previous episodes, you can't handle an addiction problem by yourself. You can pray to God as if you're just talking to him, you can meditate talking to yourself. There are many ways to engage with that High Power and with yourself. In fact, prayer and meditation are best kept as free as possible of preconceptions and expectations. There is no "ONE WAY" of praying. Every individual is different and has unique ways, in the end, the goal will be the same, to make you free and keep you coordinated with you and the universe and God.
