We often think about the purpose for our lives, but how does that impact how we parent our children, in preparation to live out the purpose for their lives? In this week’s episode, I talk to my precious friend Amy about how she intentionally parents her daughters in a way that equips them to live out their respective purpose.

In this episode you’ll hear:

-how a mysterious illness that nearly killed her brought her closer to the Lord so that she can fully live out a life dedicated to her faith

-what that looks like on a daily basis

-how she helps her children have a relationship with the Lord by guiding them towards Him, while also seeking Jesus in how she can effectively parent both them in different ways.

If you’re contemplating next steps in your parenting journey, such as homeschool or public school, social media for your kids, or creating boundaries in friendships, this will be an amazing episode for you!

Come back next week for the second part of our conversation, when we’ll talk about trauma and spiritual warfare, how standards of society don’t define our children, how to let go of incessant need to control our lives, seeing the fruit of our efforts in parenting in the everyday moments, and how having a relationship with Jesus frees you from the comparison trap in society.
