So often, there is a spoken and unspoken pressure to push your practice as far as it will go. Grow. Grow. Grow. Push. Push. Push. So many well-meaning people apply pressure to dentists to grow their practice into something massive. There tends to be a simple definition of success that every practice owner is fed, and then they spin their wheels always working to achieve. In this episode, Bethany and Dr. Kuba talk about an experience Dr. Kuba had recently where a well-meaning advisor pressured her to push her practice toward a destination. Through dialogue, Dr. Kuba was reminded that she is content in her practice. It is providing for her family. It is providing good careers for her team. It is focused on quality care, and it allows her to support her family and aging parents. She discusses the importance of finding contentment in the practice, knowing that it will ebb and flow with life goals.
