Where to begin when you're new to investing? We are getting back-to-basics with some Investing 101 and money psychology in this episode. We'll discuss what first-time self-directed investors need to know to get started on your investing journey and good concepts for all investors to think about in their investing strategy...along with some important jargony terms, defined, so that you don't get overwhelmed.
Investing involves risk, but that doesn't mean you should be afraid to learn how to make your money make money! We can all do it. Your knowledge compounds just like your can and so many barriers to entry have already been broken!
Things to remember:
*Time in the market is better than timing the market.
*The stock market hates uncertainty (creates volatility).
*Compound interest and dollar cost averaging are great terms to understand that help you invest wisely, well, and often.
