As a therapist, I've seen how therapy can be a powerful tool that helps people transform their lives. But, therapy isn't the only way to improve your mental health. There are many other ways that don't involve talking.

Whether you're not interested in therapy, you didn't find it helpful, or therapy isn't accessible, you don't need to see a professional to start feeling better. There are many other science-backed strategies for improving mental health and reducing mental illness. Some of the things I share today are:

  • How to build a sense of community to reduce depression and anxiety
  • How to spend time in nature to improve your mood, decrease stress hormones, and boost your creativity
