In the latest edition of “Talk Time for the NZACH,” I took viewers on an enlightening journey with Teresa Saunders as my subject. As an experienced hypnotherapy practitioner, I demonstrated a simple yet effective process to create a resourceful anchor, aimed at helping Teresa feel more calm and relaxed in future situations.
We delved into several key NLP techniques, starting with the creation of a resourceful anchor. This foundational exercise was followed by an anchor stacking process on Teresa’s knuckles, moving her from an undesirable emotional state to a more desirable one. Through this demonstration, viewers witnessed the chaining of anchors, leading to the final step of collapsing anchors. This technique helped Teresa transform feelings of anger into a sense of empowerment, positivity, and relaxation.
I also took this opportunity to introduce viewers to the New Zealand Academy of Clinical Hypnotherapy (NZACH). If you’re interested in expanding your knowledge or pursuing a career in hypnotherapy, I encourage you to explore our comprehensive courses and training programs. Visit our website at www.nzach.ac.nz for further information on training to become a clinical hypnotherapist.
