In this episode, we welcome Dr. Tommy Minkler back to the podcast. Tommy is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Sport Leadership and Management at Miami University. He also works in private practice as a provisionally licensed professional counselor and a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). Prior to completing his graduate school training, he coached college lacrosse. Tommy has been a longtime MSPE contributor, but only recently entered the field as a Ph.D. consultant, clinician, and researcher, and he talks candidly about his early experiences - as well as the role that mindfulness has played in his professional and personal lives.
