In this episode I talk to Heather Ammann of the Dallas Zoo. We talk about being pregnant at work (especially in that hot Texas heat), how she dealt with sleep deprivation in those first few months and the anxiety of not wanting to forget to do some critical part of your job. We also chat about the challenges of pumping at work and trying to advocate for dedicated spaces where moms can pump in the workplace. Lastly, we talk about the importance of making time for yourself and finding that activity that you enjoy that allows you to step away, recharge, and come back to your family.
