When you're in the thick of it, that particular parenting stage seems to last forever. Whether it's lack of sleep or an infant's complete dependency on you, giving so much of yourself at work and then having to come home and give so much of yourself again can seem daunting. My guest this week, Jennifer Zuehlke, shares with me what it's like to get out of that infant stage and into the stage of parenting where your children are older and more independent. This has her feeling like professional goals are more attainable now that her children are older as well as getting back to the activities that she loves to do. No matter what stage you're in, parenting is hard!
