This episode I am taking the opportunity to chat with my Podiatrist, Jennifer Blackburn State Registered Podiatrist as she performs some routine foot care on my feet. But that is not all she gets up to in her clinic and she has a passion for feet and biomechanics (or body mechanics) as do I.

She is of the opinion that healthy feet are crucial to our overall health and wellbeing. And I'm a convert, so she doesn't need to persuade me that looking after your feet is really very important.

We tackle topic including:

  1. Why it is so important for people to look after their feet.
  2. How to care for your feet
  3. Biomechanics and common foot abnormalities.
  4. minimalist footwear vs corrective insoles.
  5. Impact of a leg length discrepancy.
  6. Diabetic foot care

My sincere thanks to Jennifer Blackburn
