Robyn Interviews Neuro-developmental Kinesiologist, Kate Wagner
Manage episode 481739261 series 3664661
Kate Wagner joins Robyn today for a discussion about movement and brain function and how specific, rhythmic movements support primitive reflex integration, stress, trauma, pain and so much more. Her work with Harold Bloomberg invites a deeper look into how movement and brain function releases the stories of trauma, pain and more from the body and retrains the brain. I also do this work with clients. Kate is one of my teachers. I came to this work because my son was struggling with reading and having a hard time letting go of experiences from the past. After EMDR supported the shift from survival brain to logical mind, I knew there was still work to do with the BODY. As I worked on these movements (and still do), I saw how finally the subconscious stories of yesterday, along with active reflexes integrated shifted my son.
