In business, especially in sales, it’s easy to get comfortable once you’ve experienced some success. You attend conferences, listen to experts, and take notes—but how much of that information actually gets applied? How much of it truly makes a difference in your business or life?

For many, the answer is: not much. Year after year, they hear the same advice, nod along in agreement, and yet nothing changes. The real magic happens when you don’t just listen but take action—and take it seriously.

The concept of being a student, of continually learning and applying knowledge, is what separates those who grow and thrive from those who stagnate.

In this episode, I talk about the power of becoming a true student in this business. I’ll explore the difference between merely attending events and actively applying the lessons to propel yourself to the next level in real estate.

Things You’ll Learn In This Episode

  • Refine your activities If you’ve already implemented a tactic, there might still be room for improvement. How do you determine if you could be doing the tactic better?
  • The most powerful question you can ask yourself It’s easy to passively consume content, but how do you know if you’re internalizing it enough to confidently share it with others?
  • The trap of success Success can actually lead to complacency when it comes to learning. What goes wrong when we think we know everything?
