In this raw and unfiltered solo episode, I’m opening up about something a lot of women in male-dominated industries wrestle with—but don’t always say out loud:
Do I stay, or do I build my own table?
After 25+ years in a field that’s only 8% women, I’ve got stories.
Like the time a grown man called my house—not my work line—because I gave a directive he didn’t like.

Why?

Because some people want us to feel so uncomfortable that we choose to leave.
But here’s the truth they don’t want you to know:
You have a choice.

You can stay. And staying doesn’t mean shrinking. It means standing in your voice and owning your seat.

What You’ll Hear in This Episode:
•Real stories of harassment and power dynamics in male-led spaces
•Why discomfort is often the point—and how to respond
•The difference between leaving from fear vs. leaving from power
•How to turn exclusion into emotional resilience
•Why “build your own table” is not the only valid option
•What it means to self-ally and choose your seat intentionally

My conversation with Tiffany Sims challenged me deeply.
She believes building your own table is the way forward.
And while I respect that, this episode is my response.

You don’t have to leave to be powerful. You can stay—and still shift the room.
Let’s stay rooted in our confidence.
