Heather Vincent, PhD, a leading expert in exercise and rehabilitation, is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds achieve optimal health and performance. As the Vice Chair of Research and Director of the UF Health Sports Performance Center, Dr. Vincent leverages her extensive research and clinical experience to develop innovative strategies for injury prevention, disease management, and overall well-being. With a PhD from the University of Florida and a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Virginia, Dr. Vincent is a highly respected researcher in the field of exercise science. Her work focuses on the powerful health benefits of physical activity, including its ability to combat obesity, osteoarthritis, and other chronic conditions.
As a dedicated member of professional organizations such as the American College of Sports Medicine, Osteoarthritis Research Society International, and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Vincent stays at the forefront of the latest advancements in her field. Dr. Vincent offers a comprehensive range of services, including fitness and exercise consultations, sport and health assessments, gait analysis, motion analysis, VO2 and lactate threshold testing, and custom bike fittings. Her goal is to empower individuals to maintain an active lifestyle throughout their lives, regardless of their starting point.
