As women, we are somatic creatures. We are meant to be connected with our bodies and with the earth. When we are not present in our bodies and connected to our senses, our programmed conditioned not-self behaviors take over. In other words, when we are not in our vehicles, in the driver's seat with hands on the steering wheel and eyes on the road, we cannot navigate the twists and turns of our path. The car will likely crash.

So, what does it mean to be a somatic creature? When we are not in an embodied experience, what happens? We rely on the crutches that bring comfort for the discontent - emotional eating, buying things we don't need, seeking unhealthy relationships, or we have difficulty expressing ourselves. We are not seen or perceived as the powerful creative beings that we are, because we are not grounded in our true selves.

In this episode, I'm joined by Camela Widad, a musician and performing songwriter, powerful intuitive healer and coach, for a revealing and enlightening conversation.

I hope you will find this valuable in its place - it stands on it own.
