In this episode, I am joined by a high school acquaintance and thoughtful conservative voice, Mike Cory, for an honest and respectful conversation about the political divide between Democrats and Republicans.
Rather than aiming to debate or “win,” Mike and I model how to listen for understanding, even when we disagree. With topics ranging from gun laws and media mistrust to Medicaid, Christian values, and government corruption, this conversation explores the values beneath the views—and reveals how much more we have in common when we take time to truly hear each other.
