Sometimes, life has moments that just plain suck - seasons of challenge, hardship, uncertainty and discomfort. But what if, instead of resisting them, we leaned in?

During a recent trip to visit my daughter in San Antonio, I found myself reflecting on a simple yet powerful phrase - "embrace the suck." While it’s a phrase that originated in the military, it holds valuable lessons for all of us in navigating life’s tough seasons.

In this episode, I’m sharing how shifting your mindset to embrace the hard things in life can help you come out stronger, wiser, and more resilient. I’ll share the origins of this phrase, why shifting your mindset to embrace challenges is crucial for growth, and five practical steps - both mental shifts and actionable tips - so that you can embrace the hardship and navigate it with resilience and strength.

If you’re going through a tough spot right now, I hope this episode is the encouragement in your ear to embrace the suck. And I want to support you! If you’ve got takeaway from this episode, or want to share how you’re embracing the suck right now, send me a message on Instagram @radiantwomanhood and @tabithablue and tag me in your stories.
