This is a true gem for anyone who has had symptoms for a long time and fears that recovery is out of reach. Ellie’s PPPD symptoms began when she was just 14 years old, and over the next 20 years, they progressively worsened. At her worst, she was completely debilitated, experiencing a wide range of symptoms, including unsteady ground sensation, vertigo, the “Alice in Wonderland” feeling, nausea, brain fog, panic and anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and more.

Listen as Ellie shares her struggle with an eating disorder and how it connected to PPPD. We also discuss her experiences with pregnancy and motherhood. Hear what ultimately helped Ellie feel better and why stepping out of “fixing mode”—learning to accept discomfort and fully experiencing emotions—can be so important. Today, Ellie is fully recovered, proving that complete healing is possible, no matter how many years you’ve had symptoms.
