Enthusiasm is a good thing, overall. But sometimes it can get in the way or upset your plan as you start your changing making journey.

Why can enthusiasm be a problem?

It can make you think you are ready to do more than you ready for right this minute. When you aren’t ready for the next level you can set yourself further back than where you started.

Take injuries in sport. If you are good for running 15 minutes at light speed, jumping up to running faster or longer after a few days opens you up for injury. Which could set you back several weeks.

There are more examples in the episode, and what you can do the keep building on your successes and keep enthusiasm at just the right level to keep moving forward.
